Motorola rumoured to launch new Android smartphone in May; expected to be cheaper, slimmer than the Moto G


New Delhi: Having garnered appreciation for its powerful, yet affordbale, Moto G smartphone, Motorola is now planning to introduce another budget-friendly smartphone which will be even thinner and cheaper than the Moto G smartphone.
Technoblog claims to have learnt that the new Motorola handset will be launched in May. An image showing the alleged specs of the rumoured handset claims that the phone will have a thickness of 6.2mm. The image was sent to Technoblog by someone working for a Brazilian mobile operator, says the blog.

The rumoured smartphone is expected to come with a 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of storage, 5-megapixel camera, and 1GB of RAM.

The handset, reportedly, will come with a 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of storage, 5-megapixel camera, and 1GB of RAM. It will run Android 4.4 KitKat.
The handset is expected to be launched in Brazil in three versions - the single-SIM XT1021, the dual-SIM XT1022 and the dual-SIM XT1025 that also comes with digital TV support. The dual-SIM model will reportedly come at $267, therefore, the single SIM version is expected to be even more affordable.
It's unknown when Motorola would announce its cheaper Moto G handset in other markets.
