Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 2014 price excites
If you are unimpressed by Samsung’s Galaxy Note Pro and Tab Pro 12.2 tablets that are currently rolling out globally, we may have something good for those looking for a cheaper option.
The old Galaxy Tab 3 remains a very popular tablet for consumers who are just looking for basic functionality and now we have news that Galaxy Tab 3 price cuts are taking place.
We already saw the tablet discounted during the 2013 Holiday Season, but now we can see the inevitable stock movement now that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 release date appears imminent.
Retailers Best Buy appear to have made the first move, discounting the Galaxy Tab 3 to an ultra low $179.99 – $20 off the already cheap price of $200.
Just to remind you, hardware specs are not high-end by any means but it still features more than fine performance. It comes with a 7-inch display, a dual-core 1.2Ghz processor, 1GB of RAM, an 8GB of internal memory and room to expand with MicroSD card.
There’s also an average 3.15 megapixels rear camera, along with a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front. Android 4.4 Kitkat won’t be offered out of the box as expected though, as this will instead ship with Jelly Bean – you’ll have to do your own underground tinkering to make it happen.
Either way, it’s great to see tablet prices going lower. Let us know if you are tempted to pick this up from Best Buy for $180. Alternatively, feel free to offer any other cheap tablets that you have spotted online recently.
