Nikon D4S DSLR camera is a whopping Rs 4.19 lakh in India, D3300 out too
The Nikon D4S and D3300 DSLR cameras are for those in India with deep pockets. They are priced starting at Rs 4.19 lakhs and Rs 32450, respectively. These cameras are obviously aimed at professional photographers or hobbyists who take the art of clicking pictures seriously.
Nikon claims to have seen about 20% growth in its DSLR business last year and is hoping to keep this up with its newer offerings. The D4S has a 36mm x 23.9mm sensor and can shoot images at 16.2MP in up to 4,928 x 3,280p resolution in FX format. It can also do 640 x 424p/25fps to 1,920 x 1,080p/60fps videos.
The snapper can handle continuous shooting at a speed of 11fps and it has a 100 to 25,600 ISO range. It also features a 51-point AF system, 3D Color Matrix metering III with a 91,000-pixel RGB sensor, a 3.2-inch display, an eye-level pentaprism single-lens reflex viewfinder and the Expeed 4 image-processing engine.
The Nikon D3300 is fitted with a 24.2MP DX-format CMOS sensor and an eye-level pentamirror single-lens reflex viewfinder. It is capable of reaching a continuous shooting speed of 5fps, shows off a 3-inch LCD and boasts of an ISO range spanning between 100 and 12,800.
Operating with the help of the Expeed 4 image-processing engine, the camera can capture videos in VGA 640 x 424p/25fps to HD 1,920 x 1,080p/60fps resolution. The Nikon D4S was launched early this month in India, while the D3300 has been available in the country for some time.
