USB gadgets: Digital wallet concept

We should see many interesting devices that will make our lives easier in the future, but so far, those devices are just early concepts or prototypes. Even if they are just concepts it doesn’t mean that we won’t see them in future someday.

In future, everything will be in digital format so there won’t be any written documents or paper money.  Just imagine, if there’s no paper money there’s no need for you to carry old fashioned wallets and such, instead people will be using digital wallets. Even today, people are using other methods of payment such as credit cards instead of money. It’s faster, simpler, easier and it’s digital. Swedish designer Fredrik Palmblad has also noticed this and he has designed an interesting looking device that is called Digital Wallet. It looks like an oversized USB flash drive and it works that way as well. Each Digital Wallet is connected to your bank account and in order to transfer your money from one account to another you just need to connect two Digital Wallets on a similar way as you connect USB devices. After that, you need to verify your ID by pressing the upper ring with your thumb. After verification is completed you choose the amount of money to transfer and that’s it.

Digital Wallet sounds interesting but it’s just an early concept so far so we won’t see it anytime soon. On other hand, few years back credit cards were just a concept and now they are simplest and fastest form of payment. Anyway, we’re hoping that we’ll see Digital Wallets someday in future.
