Lava Iris 503e launched for Rs 6,749, tags along 5-inch screen, dual core SoC
The Lava Iris 503e is yet another budget-friendly smartphone that has hit availability status without waiting for the company to make an official announcement. In case you are interested in purchasing a phablet that doesn’t break the bank, then this Lava device priced at under Rs 7K seems like a good option.
Featuring dual SIM card slots, the device has been fitted with a 5-inch touchscreen which can deliver visuals in 854 x 480p resolution. You get a 1.3MP webcam for obvious reasons as well as a 3MP fixed focus snapper complete with LED flash, video recording, 8x digital zoom, smile detection, panorama mode and a lot of other things.
It makes the most of the Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS and as far as the multitasking properties are concerned, they are taken care of by a dual core processor capable of clocking in a maximum speed of 1.2GHz. Most of the common connectivity options are present in the device as well.
512MB of RAM is present for the chipset’s assistant and you get less than 2GB of onboard memory for hoarding your digital content. However, the latter is expandable further by up to 32GB, if you insert a microSD card in the dedicated slot. A lithium-ion battery of 2000mAh capacity has been incorporated so that users get 2G talk time of about 7 hours on a single charge.
The Lava Iris 503e smartphone is currently up for sale at eBay for Rs 6,749.
