Proud Indian and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella to concentrate on ‘mobile’ and ‘cloud’

Satya Nadella, the new CEO of Microsoft Corp will focus on mobiles and could storage – that is devices and services for in this year.

The Hyderabad born in an interview to Economic Times clarified on plans for the year 2014 and his role.  To a question about Microsoft will bring to market that will define the essence of the future of the company Nadella responded “I can't disclose too much before we are ready to bring them to market, but I can tell you that you will see Microsoft focusing even more intensely on products and services that fully embrace ‘mobile-first’ and ‘cloud-first’ value.”
He further said “And now we're reinventing productivity for a mobile-first and cloud-first world. So when I think about the value we'll bring to consumers, we are going to empower them to do more of the things they're most passionate about - communicating with loved ones, getting stuff done, creating, entertainment - whether it's at work, or in their daily lives. This will be expressed through our services and rich experiences on devices.”

In his first email to Microsoft employees also he mentioned that the company will focus on mobile and could-first. He wrote “Our industry does not respect tradition - it only respects innovation. This is a critical time for the industry and for Microsoft. Make no mistake, we are headed for greater places - as technology evolves and we evolve with and ahead of it. He also disclosed that Microsoft is happy about Nokia joining them with its devices and service business. He also said that he is proud to be an Indian and his educational and personal foundation that he received in India. “I could never put into words all of the ways that India has shaped me, but I believe it's helped me gain a recognition of the incredible diversity of people, cultures, and points of view that exist in the world,” he said.

Nadella was announced the CEO of the Redmond company early this February. He had been the Executive Vice President of Microsoft's Cloud and Enterprise group earlier. The Microsoft's Founder and Member of the Board of Directors, Bill Gates, termed Nadella as the best person to carry the responsibility of leading the giant venture Microsoft.
