Micromax Canvas Elanza 2 A121 makes an online appearance
Looks like Micromax is all set to bring a slew of new devices in India. The all new Elanza 2, successor to the Elanza, has been spotted on the official site. Gogi.in has managed to get its hands on a user manual showing another yet to-be-announced Micromax device. The manual reveals the model number A106 and also states that the device will run Android 4.4 KitKat.
The Elanza 2 sports a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 720p. The highlight of the device is its leather back.Under the hood, it gets a 1.2GHz quad core Qualcomm MSM8212 processor with 1GB of RAM. The 4GB onboard storage can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.

The listing also reveals an 8-megapixel rear snapper and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Elanza 2 comes with a dual SIM support and runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. All of this will be fuelled by a 2000mAh battery that promises up to 7.5 hours talktime and up to 240 hours of standby time. There is no word on the pricing and availability yet, but we can expect the details to come in soon as the device is listed on the official site. Though the Elanza 2 doesn’t run the latest KitKat version, Micromax reportedly is working on another device that comes with the latest Android flavor.
The A106 user manual reportedly also reveals some other specs of the device such as support for 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The device is expected to come with a removable battery and microSD card slot. However, there is no word on the display size or type, processor and other features.
