How to Retrieve the Messages Deleted from Your Facebook

Here is the step by step guide on how to retrieve your deleted messages of your facebook account:

Open the Web edition of  facebook on your computer or Mac

At the left or right side corner at the top, you will see the messages icon, click it. A drop down menu will show up, and then click on the ‘See All’ option at the bottom side of the drop down.

Next to the ‘Inbox’ and ‘Others’ at the right hand pane, you will see ‘More’. Click on it, a menu appear, inside it is ‘Archive’. Click on ‘Archive.’

 

In this place, you will see all kinds of old messages which you have not totally deleted but were out of your mind.

This kind of retrieval method do work due to the ‘x’ button which is known as ‘Archive button’ rather than the name known it to be – ‘Delete button.’ If you click on the ‘x’ button, your message is saved in archive as it is removed from the inbox. When your archive is accessed, all the messages will be displayed again. Note that when next you want to delete message, you need to click the ‘x’ button rather than slicking on the ‘delete conversation’ link except that you truly want to delete completely.
